The Trustees of the Dartington Trust have today voted the College of Arts off the Dartington Estate. Apparently, in 21st century Britain, an un-elected, self-appointed oligarchy can make decisions that affect the lives of a whole community, without even a nod to democracy.
The College of Arts is the last of a long list of innovative, financially sound enterprises established by Dorothy and Leonard Elmhirst to be dismantled or abandoned by the Trustees. |
